Our fierce little motor named Matilda!
Matilda, our 1990 Nissan Micra, is our feisty little motor who is going to hit the challenges of sand, track-less terrain and breakdowns, and hopefully get us all the way to the finish at Ulaan Baatar, with a little bit of help from some gaffa tape, cable ties and the occasional re-fuelling along the way…
As we are on the other side of the globe to Matilda at the moment, Dan Roberts from Team Mongo Men in Suffolk England, has valiantly stepped up to the Mongolian clay plate to be our team mechanic (and general proof that knights in shining armour still exist!), getting Matilda mechanically tuned and looking her best for the journey.
